Dagashi Kashi

Synopsis

The Dagashi Kashi anime loosely follows the plot of the manga, where in any order tells the life of Kokonotsu Shikada living in the countryside. It all started from an argument between his father, Yō Shikada who wanted him to become the successor of the family business about candy. Until Hotaru Shidare walks in, she keeps persuading Kokonotsu to take over. As the series unfolds, Kokonotsu meets Saya Endō and Tō Endō talking about life in the countryside where candy is occasionally involved. Most of the series discusses about candies and snacks with its origins and it is adapted into twelve episodes.
