Ippon Again!

Synopsis

Mou Ippon! centers around high school girls practicing the Japanese martial art of judo. The manga's story begins when freshman high school student and judo-enthusiast Hana Ichinose's judo club goes to an inter-high tournament, but does not have enough members to participate. Although Hana does not want to quit the sport like her friend who played baseball, she does not know what to do. Meanwhile, junior high school student Hikari Inaba joins the tennis club because she loves its captain Michi Kuroki, but is not a great player. Michi, whose father runs a large sporting goods store, also happens to be a friend of Hana from their childhood.
