Synopsis

Hundreds of years ago, invaders from the sky nearly destroyed the world. To stop them, five mages created a powerful barrier on top of a huge tower called "Mercedes Caulis." These mages became the first "Magia Vander." Today, the Regarden Magical Academy trains magicians to become strong enough to maintain this barrier and protect the kingdom. Will Serfort is a student at Regarden who dreams of becoming a powerful magician to join the Mercedes Caulis and reunite with his childhood friend, Elfaria Albis Serfort, the youngest Magia Vander ever. Despite having no magic abilities, Will excels in his studies with perfect test scores and extra credits from hunting monsters in the school's dungeon. Few people know his true strength: his exceptional swordsmanship allows him to defeat powerful monsters that even the best magicians struggle with. As Will pursues his dream, he makes friends and enemies, revealing his true powers and shaking the foundations of the world.
