Ailan

Ailan is a minor character in The Apothecary Diaries. She is a lady-in-waiting in the Jade Pavilion. As Gyokuyou's servant, she shares cleaning, cooking, and nursing duties in the palace with Gyokuyou's other ladies-in-waiting. Ailan is a tall and attractive woman in her late teens with dark blue eyes and long black hair. She wears her hair in an updo with a bun atop her head and strands falling on either side of her face ending in loose curls just below her chin.
