Akihito Narihisago Husbando

Akihito Narihisago is the main protagonist of ID:INVADED. A former homicide detective and the ex-colleague of Kokuryu Matsuoka and Funetaro Momoki, he ended up in police custody after seeking revenge against his daughter's murderer, Denshin Katsuyama. Left scarred and traumatized by the event, he was arrested, eventually finding work with the Kura as a Mizuhanome pilot, assuming the guise of Brilliant Detective Sakaido within id wells. Akihito is a relatively tall man with green eyes (blue in the manga) and somewhat long, spikey, dull pink hair, as well as a small goatee. He wears a Kura prisoner's uniform consisting of white bottoms, a black shirt and a white jacket, which he ties around his waist. He also has a white bracelet around his right wrist. Before his incarceration, he was clean-shaven and his hair was brighter and stood higher. He generally wore a black suit, a white shirt with the top button undone, and a loose black, white and brown striped tie. Narihisago is, at his core, a broken, twisted man, the deaths of his family having greatly traumatised him and warped his mental state. Most of the time, Narihisago presents a weary, humorously bleak demeanour, often having a tired, cold smile around his former colleges. This fatigued casual air barely covers up the empty, lifeless state he falls into whenever he's by himself or around other serial killers. A core tenant of Narihisago's personality is the overwhelming hatred he has towards other serial killers, which manifests itself as an uncontrollable urge to kill. Because Narihisago has more often than not been inside their id well, he knows them on a more intimate level than even themselves. This, coupled with his exceptional analysis and detective skills, means that he can root out a person's psychological weaknesses and exploit them, dismantling their perception of themselves and their philosophies, taking a disturbing amount of pleasure as he does so, knowing they will most likely end up killing themselves. Nowhere is this hatred more extreme than with John Walker, the only one to elicit extreme emotional responses from him anymore. The mere thought of him is usually more than enough to work him into a furious rage, most likely because he holds him ultimately responsible for the death of his family. For months, Narihisago lived in anxiety that John Walker existed within his own id well, fearful at the thought that his own mind had been manipulated somehow, his frustration at one point driving him to self-harm. Despite his hatred of John Walker, Narihisago also burdened himself with the guilt of his family's deaths. At times he would live vicariously through Sakaido, imagining Kaeru as his daughter Muku, to the point where Momoki had to remind him to isolate himself mentally from Sakaido. However, after his time in Kiki Asukai, Narihisago was able to finally accept that his family was gone and start moving on. Though his mind has been twisted and broken, Narihisago still has the heart of an officer, his motivation to save people still as strong as ever. Indeed, this can be seen in Sakaido's personality, who is willing to put aside solving the mystery of Kaeru's death in order to save people.
