Akito Sohma

Akito Sohma is the main antagonist in the manga and anime series Fruits Basket. Akito is the head of the Sohma clan and is shrouded in mystery. She is feared and respected by many members of the Sohma clan. In the anime, she has a male seiyu and a male voice actor in the English dub. In the anime, it also expressed she fears of dying young, which never occurred in the manga. She falls sickly often, and is constantly told by Hatori Sohma that she is to remain in her bed. Many see Akito fearful and strong, but she is actually a scared figurehead that can't do anything but hurt and command others.
