Alexander "Alex" Row is the twenty-eight-year-old enigmatic captain of the infamous battleship Silvana. He is given the responsibility of protecting Alvis E. Hamilton from the Guild. He has an outwardly cold façade that seems unemotional, and harsh. He is a graduate of the Anatoray Military Academy, but he is loosely affiliated with Anatoray. Because he has his own agenda, he carries out the orders of the Anatoray Emperor, but eventually breaks all ties with Anatoray and Disith because of events not directly approached in the series.
