Antonio da Noli

Antonio da Noli was one of 12 Navigatori-class destroyers for the Italian Regia Marina. The Navigatori-class ships were much larger than other Italian destroyers at the time and boasted three twin 12cm turrets, two 3x533mm torpedo tubes and 10 AA guns. The Navigatori glass were fast (reaching test speeds of up to 43.5 knots) but unstable, leading to rebuilt design in the 1930s. Antonio da Noli was sunk by mines whilst in the Strait of Bonifacio on the 9th September 1943.
