Azucena Milagros Ortiz Castillo

Azucena grew up in the mountains of Peru, on the Ortiz Farm, where she learned the trade of coffee farming from her father. It was as a youngster growing up on the coffee plantation that she decided her dream was to be the world's best coffee farmer. Azucena experimented with cultivating different kinds of coffee plants, but her innovations were continually rejected by adults around her.
