The bat existence on earth predates human life, with only hints of his existence and influence obscurely lying around the world in books, alleyways and many more places around the world with only a few people knowing it's true identity and purpose. The bat is the central focus and mystery of the story dragging each character into the plot in some way, with each individual trying to pursue it so that they can gain control of the world by using it's sheer influence or using it's supernatural abilities to make their dreams come true.
