Biwa

A young orphan living with the Taira (Heike) clan. She can see the future, nevertheless refuses to help them. When they asked, she gave herself the name Biwa, stating that she doesn't have a name, but her father (a blind biwa player) always called her that. She has different colored eyes, one that sees the future. She dresses like a boy, and her appearance barely changes as she gets older. She observes the shining and the fall of the Taira clan, and later she becomes the chronicle of its fall.
