Black Mask

Black Mask is Roman Sionis, a crimelord in Gotham City and one of Batman's enemies. The mask that he wears is ebony carved from his mother's coffin, and was at one point burned into his skin so severely that it has become indistinguishable from his actual face. Sionis eventually died when Catwoman shot him in the face. His memberships have included the False Face Society, the Secret Society of Super-Villains, and the Black Lantern Corps.
