Cassin Young

One of the Fletcher-class destroyers.In 1944,USS Cassin Young saved the survivors from CVL USS Princeton during the escort mission. After that, in Okinawa, this ship encountered the Kamikaze twice and critical damaged. After the war, Cassin Young kept servicing, and sailed around the Atlantic and Mediterranean, changed into reserve service in 1960. In 1978, Cassin Young became a museum ship, and kept anchoring till today.
