Cindi Eglantine

After her mother was killed, Cindi was hastily moved to Chichester, England and given a new abode and job, namely a tourist guide. She is extremely enthusiastic about her new position and has been known to go on for hours and hours talking about historical facts, much to the annoyance of her customers. Becoming a pawn in The Council's power game, and unwillingly injected with nanobots designed to kill her from within, she is given only a few years to live, causing Grendel to hastily abduct the protagonist in order to make her last few days "happy".
