Fuyo

Fuyo (芙蓉, Fuyō) is a momonoke that looks like little girl. An ally to the humans, she helps Ryosuke Shiba with various training activities as Division 2. Although Fuyo doesn't have much in the way of physical abilities, she is a master of the magical arts, being adept with illusions and all other ways to use a mononoke's inherent power. This has earned her the nickname of "Divisions 2's Handywoman". For several decades now, Fuyo has been in charge of the Bureau's anti-mononoke defense training. Toshimasa Azuma underwent that training during his time as a rookie and wound up fainting once. Fuyo still uses it as joke fodder to this day. Many centuries ago, Fuyo and Ibuki were best friends where they still wear the same style of hair ribbon is a sign of that. However, when the Oniwaban began gaining power, Fuyo decided to join the humans while Ibuki chose isolation, and the two friends parted. They remained apart until Jiro's training gave Fuyo the excuse to see Ibuki for the first time in centuries. After the Amagi incident, Fuyo began visiting Ibuki regularly under the pretext of being the Bureau's watchdog over a "rogue" mononoke, and the two would share drinks and stories. Fuyo has always been friendly towards humans. before the Oniwaban was founded, she was the local deity of a small village. She enjoys watching human culture and society change over time, as well as occasionally partaking in human hobbies and pastimes. Her favorite foods are cheesecake and inari sushi. When asked what she thinks of mononoke who eat humans, she said she could not comprehend why they would go out of their way to eat something that tasted so disgusting.
