Hal, sometimes written as Haru, is a character from the Texhnolyze anime series. Hal is a young man with a blond afro and tanned skin. He also has a Texnohlyzed left arm. There was an unusual relationship between Hal, Shinji and Yoko, who is in love with Shinji, and is loved by Hal. He couldn’t accept Yoko not loving him. It ends just as badly, with Hal turning on Shinji out of jealousy. He grew hateful and became one of the Shapes.
