Asakura Hao is the main villain in the Shaman King manga and anime series. Born as Asaha Doji (麻葉童子 Asaha Dōji), he rose to prominence as an onmyōji during Japan's Heian period, and after receiving the name Asakura Hao (麻倉葉王), he founded the Asakura Family. During his third life, he was reborn as the twin brother of his descendant Asakura Yoh.
