Basil Hawkins Husbando

Basil Hawkins, known by the epithet "Magician," is a pirate from the North Blue and one of the "Worst Generation." He captains the Hawkins Pirates and had a 249,000,000 Beli bounty when he arrived at Sabaody Archipelago 2 years prior; his current bounty is now 320,000,000 Beli. Hawkins is a tall man, with black triangle symbols on his eyebrows, red eyes, and golden hair that reaches down to his hips. He also has a black cross tattooed at the base of his throat that is at the front of his neck. He is rarely seen without his tarot deck, which he uses to divine his future and the outcome of an event. His faith in the cards is absolute, even in the most dire of situations. When used in combat, they grant an ability to him and his allies or to his enemies, depending on whether the card is drawn upright or reversed. Hawkins has the power of the Wara Wara no Mi (Straw-Straw Fruit), which he can use in conjunction with his tarot cards. This Devil Fruit grants him the ability to manipulate and control straw. He can also create straw voodoo dolls of people; any instance of damage that would go to Hawkins is instead passed to that person. Afterwards, the doll falls away, its purpose served. He can also cause the doll to fall off, thereby removing the "extra life." He is a noble, calm person, even in dangerous situations. He also has a habit of predicting the future of others, from their death to their clothes getting stained. He has a no-nonsense approach to everything and avoids unnecessary bloodshed and violence if possible. He admits to using unfair fighting tactics in order to defeat his opponents. He also is not above using his enemies' crew members as bargaining chips, using his Devil Fruit abilities. Despite that, he does have a sense of honor, allowing a voodoo doll to fall off when his demands were met.
