Toshizou Hijikata

Toshizou Hijikata is the former Vice-Commander of the Shinsengumi and the leader of a group of escaped prisoners. He joins the pursuit of the Ainu gold in order to build his own Republic of Ezo. Hijikata is an old Japanese man of medium height and lean build. He has long grey hair, a grey beard that reaches his collarbones, bushy greying eyebrows, and grey eyes.
