Himena Aika

Himena Aika is the one of the original characters of the 2017 mobile game Puella Magi Madoka Magica Side Story: Magia Record. She is the leader of the Neo-Magius whose members include Hagumu Azumi and Shigure Miyabi. As a result of her wish, the consciousness or soul of her boyfriend now resides in her mind after he committed suicide, allowing them to mentally communicate. In Arc 2 Another Story Chapter 8, Kanagi confirms his presence, indicating that he is not an illusion or delusion on Himena's part. Himena's unique magic allows her to "synthesize" or "fuse" the unique magic of other Magical Girls for a limited time (approximately one hour) by making physical contact with each one involved. She can use this ability to transfer one Magical Girl's unique magic to another, such as when she transferred Hagumu Azumi's increased strength against Witches to Shigure Miyabi. In Arc 2 Another Story Chapter 7, she also gains the ability to synthesize magic with inanimate objects, such as Meiyui Chun's illusion magic to a broom. In addition, her design has some resemblance to the Legend of Orihime, specifically her hairstyle and traditional Japanese clothing.
