Hodaka Morishima Husbando

Hodaka Morishima is the male protagonist of Weathering With You. Hodaka is a teenage boy of average build and height with tan skin and large light brown eyes. He has short, slightly messy black hair with soft forelocks and bangs that hang over his eyes. He wears either a white or black plain short- sleeved t-shirt, four-quarter rare-folded jeans, pair of white sneakers with two red stripes, and he carries around a small, yellow messenger shoulder-type backpack with him. Hodaka is a courageous boy. He is impulsive and irrational, which plays a contributing factor that seals Tokyo's ultimate fate. Before leaving his home island for Tokyo, he may have been going through a rebellious phase, which is apparently one reason he ran away. When he came there, he felt very lost and hopeless until he met Hina. Out of everyone in his life, he cares very much for her, especially since Hina's treatment of him is humane and loving, a direct contrast to that of his father and presumably everyone else, including Suga and his malicious actions. In fact, his love for Hina is his strongest priority, even if it brings negative consequences like flooding Tokyo. The light novel further implies that Hodaka eventually matured out of his phase during the three year period of his probation, as his parents had softened up and he became a successful student with new friends. When he returned to Tokyo, however, he began questioning his decision to flood the city until he saw Hina again, further cementing their relationship's culmination as his reason to live. He is also friendly with kids who are much younger than him, including Moka and Nagi.
