The Nijiura Maids are net characters created starting from 2004 on Nijiura, a board on Futaba Channel (aka 2chan). Created out of an anon's thought of having a cute maid, the Nijiura Maids are a group of Maids with odd personalities or physical characteristics. Each one of their names is a pun, which started with the first maid, Medoi. Because the maids originated on an anonymous board, there is no 'official' content, and their creators are unknown.
