Iyo "Maizuru"

Maizuru is an Eastern woman. She has long, black hair with a middle parting, typically tied in a low ponytail. She has two mole-like tattoos, one above her left and right eye. The two mole-like tattoos show her rank as a ninja in the Nakamoto family. Her outfit consists of a white tunic with long, wide sleeves with a feathered wing-like design and baggy pants. Maizuru is able to perform magic, including healing and resurrection magic. Maizuru's magic seems to revolve around paper. She owns paper tags that have characters written on them (resembling o-fuda) which appear to be for combative purpose, as she brings one out when Shuro is fighting Laios presumably to assist or defend the young master. The hag that appears when the spell she placed around Asebi's neck is activated is made of paper too. (She initially developed this particular spell that she calls "Ninja Art: Babysitter" to keep an eye on the young master Shuro who was an active child.) She also casts a teleportation spell in the form of a painted doorway on a scroll, that appears to link to another scroll hanging in the desired location to create the portal. When everyone has passed through the spell, the scroll rolls up and disappears. Her magic also seems to take on the forms of various yōkai-like creatures, such as the ushi-oni that captures Laios and the hag (or yamanba) curse on Asebi.
