Izumi Ohishi

Izumi is the Cool representative of the New Wave trio. She is a mature and analytical girl who usually serves to reign in her more excitable friends, Sakura Muramatsu and Ako Tsuchiya, thus keeping things on schedule. The trio is very close, and is almost never seen without the other members. Izumi’s idol stage clothes always coordinate with Ako and Sakura’s, and her cards are set up to work best with the other New Wave members. She has notably devised what she calls Hell Training Plans for the three to follow, though her more laid-back friends usually manage to talk her out of it. In the tie in Cinderella Girls Theater skits, she is shown to be very dedicated to her job as an idol. Izumi seems to be competitive for the Producer’s affection, and wants to better herself in her sense of style. She is friends with Arisu Tachibana and Momoka Sakurai. She likes green fields and flowers, and enjoys relaxing on grassy hills while listening to music. It has gotten the better of her on occasion, making her late for work. She is also shown to be a good Hanetsuki player. Izumi usually keeps Sakura and Ako under control, although her determination does have her sometimes planning out a scheme for practice. When her two friends try to convince her of what parts of her character to flesh out when going solo, they suggest Izumi’s older sister mentality or her programming skills. She is quick to disagree.
