Izumi Shimomura

Izumi Shimomura, formerly known as Yōko Tainaka, is a a stoic and taciturn Ajin working for Yū Tosaki at the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare. As Yōko, she first discovered her Ajin abilities in her teenage years when she first died after defending herself from a rape attempt of an abusive stepfather. Yōko would run away from home where she is eventually recruited by Yū as a bodyguard under a special contract.
