Makoto Katai

Makoto Katai is a secondary character in Komi Can't Communicate. He is one of Komi Shouko and Tadano Hitohito's friends who misunderstands Shouko as his communication master. Similar to her, Makoto is also terrible at communicating with others mostly due to his intimidating, 'delinquent-like' aura but shy, and anxious personality. Katai is a tall and heavily muscled young man, standing over most of his fellow students, with swept-back dyed blonde hair.
