Kenyu Yukimiya Husbando

Yukimiya Kenyu is a contender of the Blue Lock Project, who currently plays as a left-back for Germany's Bastard München during the Neo Egoist League. A stubborn and highly driven forward who is chained down by an eye condition known as optic neuropathy, Yukimiya is fighting with everything he has to become the best striker in the world before his time runs out. When first introduced, he was ranked #5 during the Third Selection and he later played as a left wing for the match between Blue Lock Eleven and the Japan U-20 team. Yukimiya is tall, with a slim and lightly toned build. He has orange eyes and his hair is black and stylized. When outside of a match, it is groomed and straight, whereas during a match, it is more wild and messy. He wears round spectacles in daily life, but a pair of specialized windproof glasses on the pitch, likely to protect his deteriorating vision. During Second Selection, he wore Team Red's # 23 jersey and during Third Selection, he wore Team C's #23 jersey. When the Japan National Representative Match begins he dons the official Blue Lock uniform with the jersey #5. Yukimiya is highly confident in his own abilities, declaring himself the strongest player in Japan when it comes to one-on-one battles. He is also a likable and charismatic personality, appearing to make friends easily, such as with Seishiro Nagi, Jyubei Aryu, and Tabito Karasu. In addition to this, Yukimiya likes to banter even with his opponents, indicating a playful element to his personality. Yukimiya claims that he is a pacifist, which forms part of his ego, as he thinks the easiest and most peaceful way to score would be to do so himself. He is also highly inquisitive, often being the first to ask Jinpachi Ego questions about his selection criteria. At the same time, however, he is not afraid of confrontations, seen when he questions Noel Noa, the current world No.1, on his decision to sub in Yoichi Isagi instead of him during Bastard München vs. FC Barcha
