Kiev

Kiev is the lead ship of the Kiev-class of destroyers which was a project designed in 1939 for the Soviet Navy. She was laid down in September 1939 and launched in December 1940 but her construction was suspended during the war. The Kiev class was meant to be a smaller version with much the same armament of the Tashkent class, as its successor.
