Koku-u

Koku-u is a lady-in-waiting in the Jade Pavilion and a minor character in The Apothecary Diaries. She joined Gyokuyou prior to the Crown Prince's birth along with her older sister Haku-u and younger sister Seki-u. She aids in cleaning and cooking, along with the other ladies-in-waiting. The middle of three nearly identical sisters, Koku-u wears a black ribbon in her hair to differentiate her from Haku-u (white ribbon) and Seki-u (red ribbon).
