Komachi Ono no

Ono no Komachi (小野小町, 825 – 900)) was an early Heian period poetess, included in Tsurayuki's Rokkasen and in Kinto's Sanjurokkasen. She is a woman of renowned beauty, who also a court lady favored by the emperor. Although her real name is currently uncertain; however, in Uta Koi, her real name is said to be Yoshiko. One of her poem was included as No.9 in Fujiwara no Teika's Hyakunin Isshu.
