Koyori Akutagawa is the female protagonist in the anime. She is the daughter of Dr. Akutagawa and Mrs. Akutagawa and the younger twin sister of Mayumi Akutagawa who is known as 'Sprocket Gear' and together with Tazuna Takatsuki where they are known as Team Gear.
