Lacia

Lacia is the main female protagonist. She is na android equipped with a bullet-stopping device. Lacia becomes Arato’s property after saving his life from hijacked electronics. She was later revealed to be the world’s 40th super-intelligent AI and the “daughter” of Higgins. Lacia has light lavender hair that reaches her shoulder blades. Her eyes and eyelashes are the same color as her hair. Her standard outfit is a largely white armor that covers her torso front and back, under which she wears a black leotard with black sleeves that cover up to her knuckles. She wears white stilettos with black heels, which she often uses in combat. Like all hIEs, she has hair accessories that contain her native AI. She is often seen with the Black Monolith, which has shown to change between various modes. She also has a belt with four small wing-shaped plates that attach to her waist during combat. In ‘’’Beatless: Final Stage’’’ her outfit changes to a largely black body armor that reveals her waist and underarms, with a white neckguard, black breastplate, and white abdominal armor. She also covers her hands with silver plating. Any normal Android has an artificial and mechanical "personality", getting "happy" only when its owner is satisfied. Lacia was like this when she saved Arato's life, doing so only after he agreed to become her owner and take full responsibility for her actions. Even after saving his life and moving to the home of Arato and his sister, Lacia maintained her robotic personality, doing everything only for the happiness of her owner and his sister, without ever thinking about her own happiness and free will. This changes, however, when She receives Arato’s Love Confession. In that moment something changes in her programming that gives her somekind of free will and Lacia makes her own first choice by destroying and ripping her Contractor from her chest thus making it impossible for someone else to become her owner and making it impossible for her to continue to exist without him, thus linking their lives permanently. From this moment forward, Lacia's personality continues to evolve, becoming less artificial and mechanical, acquiring traces of humanity with signs of shyness becoming visible whenever she is alone with Arato, she also starts to smile more in his presence, showing her evolution and how his presence makes her happy. The last step in the evolution of her personality was when she and Arato decided to officially become a couple and fight for a future where they could be together without hiding themselves and their relationship. When it comes to Arato and their relationship, Lacia becomes more defensive and determined, fighting for them without rest, not allowing anyone to get in her way, not even her Creator, her Android sisters or even Arato, with his hesitations. In the end she even sacrificed herself for them, for their future together, and for what she believed in. There's nothing more human.
