Leonis Death Magnus is the main protagonist of the series. He is the strongest dark lord who forcefully had to seal himself because the Six Heroes has an upper-hand in the war. In the Year 447 of the Holy Calendar, Leonis was the strongest Dark Lord ruled over his nation, Necrozoa. Before becoming a dark lord, he was one of the six heroes, known as Leonis Shealto, the greatest swordsman and the Hero of Holy Sword. He was betrayed by the nobles of his kingdom and assassinated. At this point , he felt many negatives thoughts but he can't resent the human-kin as he already show their good and bad aspects. On the verge of death, a girl who had appeared before him when he was betrayed by the ones he’d saved. She resurrected the boy once called a hero, changing him into a Dark Lord. She saved Leonis when he’d lost faith in this world, and then she went on to try to save the world itself. Shouldering that heavy burden with that small body of hers. Leonis instantly comes to worships her and devote her mission to overthrow the world. When the remaining five heroes set off to defeat every dark lords blindlessly thinking of them are just cruel creatures. As an one and only remaining Dark Lord, The Undead King, Leonis himself, had to seal his soul in a coffin and will return to life after a thousand years. When he wakes up from its slumber, he find himself in the body of a ten-year old boy. He met a girl named Riselia Ray Crystalia who happened to investigate the ruins with her childhood friend, Regina Mercedes. She tell him that she is from Excalibur Academy. When they are getting out of the ruins, a Void confronts them. In the series of events, she died while protecting Leonis. Unknown for her, Leonis with sorcery resurrect her and being an undead species like him. For his surprise, the world after 1000 years doesn't know about the battle of Dark Lords and Heroes. Much to his delight, the world already civilized than he thought, with the burning curiosity he enrolled into the Excalibur Academy. As he promised to Roselia, Goddess Of Rebellion, he had to found out her vessel and build a Dark Lord's armies and to conquer the world again. So in order to that he had to gain every bit of information about the current world.
