As the only child of the Queen, she was considered as a heir to the throne above her brother who was born to a concubine. Althought she held no interest for the throne, thanks to her natural talent, the nobles wanted her to be the king. As a side note as a child, seeing the fact that she could do things others couldn't do, and often times do it better than others, she began to become arrogant. However, thanks to the intervention of Illness, and later on Sieglinde and Lunamaria, this was prevented.
