Julian Tyler Smith is a master thief and coil hunter. Formerly a researcher at New Tesla Energy, he was responsible for the development of energy shields, and took an interest in coil research alongside Dr. Yurizaki. After a devastating incident involving coils, Julian left New Tesla and became a widely-renowned art thief. He's known for broadcasting his heists to the public, which despite always seemingly failing, demonstrate his athleticism, combat skill, and technical proficiency. His constant failures led to the public giving him the nickname "Loser," which he ran with. He frequently works with his adoptive daughter Elizabeth in order to pursue his true goal. Following the incident, Julian hides his hideously scarred face behind an elaborate mask, which only reveals his green eyes. Prior to the incident he had fair skin and short blonde hair.
