The Benelli M4 Super 90 is an Italian semi-automatic shotgun manufactured by Benelli Armi SpA, the US military designation for this weapon is M1014. The first gas operated shotgun developed by Benelli, the M4 uses their own ARGO (Auto-Regulating Gas-Operated) system, a simple piston-driven shotgun action with only 4 parts, differentiating itself from more traditional and complex gas-operation mechanisms.
