Mafumafu is a popular male utaite well-known for his soft, yet upbeat middle-high ranged voice who started in December 2010. Mafumafu is recognized for incorporating various vocal effects into his covers and for his ability to effortlessly reach high notes, sometimes in extremely high octaves, without strain or loss of power. His wide vocal range allows him to produce a convincing feminine voice, as demonstrated in his cover of "Matryoshka" , which has over 3 million views. He often utilizes his range by shifting into higher or lower octaves to match a song's tone. Although he is not a full-time ryouseirui, he occasionally sings in a feminine voice. The first time he officially sang as a female character was in Last Note.'s unique duet album "Finale." In his regular and lower voice, Mafumafu can sound relaxing and soothing.
