Mai Kawai

Mai is a fresh graduate from police academy and a rookie police officer who works at the Machiyama Police Station. She joined the police force in order to have a stable income unlike her father, whose livelihood was affected by the corrupt practices of the company. However, she has had enough of the unkind remarks thrown her way as a police officer. But, just when she was about to submit her letter of resignation, a new instructor is assigned to her, as she receives guidance from Seiko Fuji, she gradually becomes more positive about her job as a police officer.
