Mai-Mai (マイマイ, Maimai), full name Mai-Mai Harvey (マイマイ・ハーヴェイ, Maimai Hāvuei) is a character in In the Land of Leadale. Mai-Mai is Cayna's second child and eldest daughter, who was placed into public service through the Foster System. Mai-Mai is a young adult elf with very long braided hair and pointy ears. In many aspects, Mai-Mai resembles her mother with blue eyes and blonde hair. However, Cayna describes her as "tall and slim" as compared to Cayna's shorter and smaller stature. Compared with her older brother Skargo, Mai-Mai is mature and responsable and possess more common sense contrary to Skargo's flamboyant and over-the-top personality. Mai-Mai has shown to also be pragmatic and reasonable, often acting as the voice of reason to Skargo and easily gets annoyed due to his behavior. As the principal of the royal academy, Mai-Mai is also serious and very professional when she has to be. Despite this, Mai-Mai does have a child-like attitude that usually demonstrates when she is with Cayna, every time her mother is around Mai-Mai tends to abandon her maturity and acts like a little girl who wishes the attention of her mother. She has shown to be mischievous and playful, keeping a secret from Cayna the existence of her children, making Cayna grandmother and also great-grandmother, believing it would be a nice surprise but it was quite the opposite.
