Maimai is one of the 30 individuals aboard the bus to Nanakimura . She is a 17-year-old student who confessed to the guy she liked but was totally rejected by him. Sometime before the tour, Maimai and her friend fell in love for the same guy, Kayama. Although they promised to keep their friendship no matter what, eventually everyone (including her best friend) rejected Maimai when she started dating her crush. In no time, Kayama dumped her as well. Her hallucination looks like a giant Kayama.
