Maki

Maki (マキ Maki?) is a background character introduced in Toaru Kagaku no Railgun. Apparently college aged, Maki has long curly brown hair and wears plain round glasses.[1][2][3][3] During her initial confrontation with her cheating partner, she wore a green cardigan, a knee-length dress and brown boots. During her attempt to acquire ExitApp, she wore a loose ankle-length skirt and blouse, with her cardigan worn over her shoulder. She also had her hair braided. Although appearing gentle and harmless,[3] Maki is unstable as a result of her loved partner Ta's infidelity.[1][2][3] On initially confirming her suspicions of him cheating, Maki tried to stab him with a kitchen knife she had brought with her, in tears both during and after the thwarted attack. After this incident and with her pregnancy, Maki became even more broken and unstable, disbelieving that Ta was a lost cause and not caring what others said, plotting to murder the other girl and make it seem like a suicide, believing that it was the only way to get him to love her again and that they'd definitely have a happy ending afterwards. She spoke in an absentminded, wavering tone, smiled in a faint yet crazed and insane manner, stood off kilter and listing as though drunk, and gave off a noticeable feeling of instability and danger.
