Maria is a minor character from The Case Study of Vanitas. She is part of the Chasseurs, a division of the Catholic Church dedicated to hunting down Vampires, specifically in Unit Three led by the Sixth Paladin Roland of Jasper. Along with Vice-Captain Georges, she is one of the most prominent subordinates of Roland.
