Mariko Shinobu

Mariko Shinobu is a 16 year old 1st year highschool girl who is an aspiring Sorority member and a former student of the junior high school attached to Seiran. She eventually becomes one of Nanako Misonoo's best friends. Mariko distrusts all men because of her troubled family life: Hikawa Shinobu (Mariko's father) is an erotica author who has an affair with a unknown actress that he later divorces Hisako Shinobu (Mariko's mother), which causes her to be terrified of abandonment to the point where she becomes obsessed with the ones around her. She is also extremely beautiful with long black hair and bright red lips and shows an odd mix of vanity about her good looks and lack of regard for her own health if upset. She refuses to eat and tries to hurt herself, because of the self-loathing that she feels due to her parents' divorce. Mariko greatly admires Kaoru Orihara due to her strength and the emotional support she gives her as well. Mariko is voiced by Sakiko Tamagawa.
