Maximum "Max" Ride

Maximum "Max" Ride is the main protagonist and the narrator of the Maximum Ride series. She is the oldest of the bird kids created by the School, and she is also the leader of the Flock. Max was created at an Itexicon facility called the School. Growing up, she had no name and spent the majority of her time either performing in painful experiments or confined to a dog crate.
