Mayor Husbando

The Mayor is a minor character in Beastars. He is a male lion who tries to conceal the bad behavior of other carnivores to preserve peace. The Mayor is an adult male lion with light golden-yellow fur, trimmed mane, and regularly wears a dark gray suit with a gray vest, white shirt and a crimson tie. He took effort to make himself look as approachable as possible, replacing his fangs with dull dentures, enlarging his eyes, reducing his shoulder width. He only retained his large hands and claws because his wife said she likes them. The Mayor is an idealistic person who aims for a clean society where herbivores and carnivores can be equal.
