Mayuki Munetani

Mayuki Munetani is the current principal of the Yokosuka Girls' Marine High School, a retired Blue Mermaid who is known as the "Tomoe Gozen of Kurushima" for winning a naval battle fifteen years prior to the events of Hai-Furi and the mother of Mafuyu Munetani, Mashimo Munetani and Mashiro Munetani. As with the generation of women in the Munetani family, Mayuki became a Blue Mermaid and served with honor. During her time, she commanded a ship against an armored fleet that marauded Japanese territorial waters and came out victorious. She's likened to the female warrior Tomoe Gozen who fights with ferocity and often fights in outnumbered battles. At some time, when Mashimo Munetani was still a student at Yokosuka Girls' Marine High School, she told her children her intent to retire. Her dream was to teach the next generation of Blue Mermaids. After her retirement, she became the principal of Yokosuka Girls.
