Medea Solon

Medea Solon is one of the main protagonists of Your Throne. She is the eldest daughter of Duke Thesion Solon and childhood friends with the young Marquess Helio Niccolo. On the day of the Yearly Prayer, Medea made a wish to the Guardian Deity that allowed her to temporarily inhabit the body of Psyche Callista. Medea has straight, purple hair that extends past her waist, and large purple eyes framed with thick black lashes set in a small, pale face with a small mole under her left eye. Her frame is slim and lithe, with long, strong limbs from frequent training. As an esteemed noble, Medea often wears lavish gowns of various shades of purple and black with fine jewels. As the duchess, Medea often wears a ring passed down to heads of the Solon family. After switching bodies with Psyche, Medea now appears dainty, with long, wavy blonde hair styled with an assortment of accessories. She has large, slanted green eyes set in a small, feminine face, and a slim body with delicate, frail arms. As Psyche, she opts to wear lighter-colored gowns, often in various shades of pastel. As a reputable, high-ranking noble, Medea possesses a certain level of haughtiness. Though she exhibits proper grace and savoir-faire in public as the duke's daughter, she is also known to have an unpleasant temper. Medea often treats those of lower class, typically ordinary civilians and servants, with contempt and condescension. Many find it difficult to associate with her, believing that her terrible personality will cause her trouble in finding a suitor. Since childhood, Medea is disciplined and diligent in her aspirations to become an individual worthy of being recorded in history. She is extremely intelligent and has extensive knowledge on a wide breadth of subjects, including literature and political affairs. Eros once mentioned that Medea is so sharp that she can read an entire situation from a single sentence or glance. She is also thoroughly trained in the art of swordsmanship and taught the fiercest warrior of the empire, Helio. Upon taking Psyche's form, she utilizes strategy and manipulation to properly impersonate her archenemy as she awaits to officially become the crown princess of Vasilios. Her uncanny ability to mimic Psyche allows her to fool those closest to Psyche, including Eros. After Nana's death, Medea has been driven by rage to seek justice and exact vengeance on those that severely wronged her. She suffers from frequent nightmares about Nana, unable to overcome the grief and pain from losing her.
