Not much is known about here beyond that she's a ventriloquist that travels around with her wolf puppet, Branky. She seems to believe that Branky is genuinely alive, but everybody else either thinks that she's just pretending or is crazy. Branky speaks her mind and is often rude to people, which usually results in Mel repeatedly smacking the puppet into something to punish her.
