Melinda Bowen

Melinda Bowen (メリダ ボーウェン, Merida Bōuen) is Shin's guardian, the famous Guru who created magical tools and powerful enchantments. She used to be married to Merlin but due to unknown reason the two split up. Melinda, as Shin described, is an old lady who wears a pair of glasses, a black robe and a pointed hat, and emits the aura of a “Witch.” She has a tall stature, handsome appearance, and has incredibly good sense of style. Thanks to a magic tool that Shin created based on an exercise machine, Melinda is noted to have an impressive figure even in her 70's. In her youth, Melinda was noted as very beautiful with a sexy body. Melinda often nags Shin when he does something abnormal. She sometimes chokes Merlin whenever it happens as she thinks it was his careless way of teaching magic that brought Shin on to his unique magic. Just like Merlin, whenever it comes to Shin's involvement to Diseum's political deeds, she too snaps. She bursts into tears and gets emotional whenever Shin mentions her as his "grandmother" just as how she wanted him to call her since he was little.
