Meryphilia

Meryphillia is a corpse-eating ghoul, unknowingly posing as Miranda. Her kind gains the memory and personality of the cadavers they eat, ending up replacing the originals. After the destruction of the Lost Empire, Miranda's corpse fell in Wonderland and washed ashore the Beach of Grief. It was there that she was found and eaten by Meryphillia. The ghoul soon forgot her true identity and took refuge in a hidden cave near the beach after defeating its previous resident. He can still be met just outside it in the form of a nightmare spirit.
